ALEX HILL
President
Hailing from River Rouge, Michigan, Alex Hill graduated from Consortium College Prep High School as the Class of 2010 Valedictorian. His focus was solely on studying nursing to eventually become an OB/GYN. Upon entering college, his passion for singing led him to join the Stellar Award nominated Howard Gospel Choir of Howard University. Alex was so impressed with the choir that he pitched to his father, Pastor Alex Hill, a scholarship concert in Detroit. After a few months of persuasion, his father said yes. Within a month’s time, Alex planned all logistics for a successful concert which garnered $6,000 that benefited students within the Detroit community. It was then that Alex unknowingly fell in love with what he now considers his career.

In 2013, Alex worked with Dreamer Management as PR assistant and CBS 62/CW50 as community affairs intern. He later was elected president of the Howard Gospel Choir and coordinated the Fall and Spring auditions. With this experience, he assisted BET Sunday Best producer Neily Dickerson with sourcing location for a preliminary audition on campus. During this process, he met celebrity pop culture expert Jawn Murray who often says, "Young Alex and I exchanged information and by the time I made it home…I received social media request from him on LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. I knew then there was something special about him."
While completing his final course, Jawn referred Alex to Sheila Eldridge, the president/CEO of Miles Ahead Entertainment (MAE). MAE is a full-service marketing agency that specializes in strategic Public Relations planning, lifestyle marketing, special events production, broadcast and social media activation that targeted the multicultural consumer market. Alex juggled both class and hitting the road with Café Mocha Radio show for the Salute Her NYC…after this the rest is history!

Now, Alex wears a few hats under the Miles Ahead umbrella as:
-
Show booker/social media manager, #1 nationally syndicated radio show for women of color Café Mocha hosted by Loni Love, YoYo and Angelique Perrin

-
Publicist to the one of the top 5 highest selling American female music groups in history En Vogue
-

In conjunction with Miles Ahead, Alex has been afforded the opportunity to work with some amazing companies, media outlets and talent such as Ford Motor Company, Verizon, McDonald’s, P&G (My Black Is Beautiful), Hyundai Motor America, Toyota USA, Smithsonian National Museum of African American History & Culture, ORS HairCare, Prudential Financial, Disney, Entertainment One, Gladys Knight, Kenny Lattimore, Malinda Williams, Tamela Mann, Pam Grier, Stephanie Mills, Angie Stone, Ruben Studdard, Dorinda Clark Cole, Jamie Foster Brown, Cynthia Bailey, Brandy, Audrey Smaltz, Cynthia Horner, Yvonna Kopacz Wright, Kirk Whalum, Boyz II Men, Rocsi Diaz, April D.
